Lindsey Clark
Lindsey’s interest in and eye for photography came to surface during a 2002 trip to Italy. While attending a summer program there for language and arts, she began photographing the architecture and the culture, capturing the beauty of life’s little moments and recording the architectural history that she had so long studied in school. Lindsey majored in Art History at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, where she also studied design, fashion and art education. Coming from a creative family (with big sis for inspiration!) has instilled her with a love of the visual arts and with the desire to learn more about the world around her through the eye of her camera. She enjoys photographing all types of architecture, from crumbling ruins to modern skyscrapers, as well as capturing the innocence and wonder of children through candid, unposed shots.

Niki Clark
Not ashamed to admit she's the elder Clark, Niki has been photographing (using Lindsey as her earliest subject, in fact) since the tender age of seven. Born and raised outside of New Orleans, she now resides in Washington, D.C. After studying photography and journalism in college, including a year at the University College of London's Slade Fine Art School, Niki attended a post-bac certificate program at Oregon College of Art and Craft, and continues to be a student whenever possible. With a desire to have been everything under the sun, photography is the one of few constants in Niki's life. She worked as a photographer's assistant briefly and for several years ran (and founded) art.grind, a colloboration that brought together local community artists. Her work has been exhibited in Washington, DC, Falls Church, VA, Silver Spring, MD, and in online galleries. After being requested to take photos of friends, and then friends of friends, then friends of strangers, Niki loves having her sister as her business partner.
